Benign Papillary Cystadenoma Lymphomatosum

Warthin's tumor (benign papillary cystadenoma lymphomatosum) is the second most common benign tumor of the parotid gland. It accounts for 2-10% of all parotid gland tumors. Unlike pleomorphic adenoma, it is more common in older white men and is the most likely to be bilateral in 10% of the cases.
The incision is hidden in one of the skin creases that are usually present in front of the ear. It is then curved behind the ear lobe and extended into another skin crease in the neck
Using a nerve monitor, the branches of the facial nerve are carefully identified and dissected before removing of the tumor.
